Accounts and shared stories

Adults can sign in through Google or email and password. We store their Google account identifier, name, email, and profile image URL, plus account and organization information. School collections store a title, selected catalog stories, access code, and expiry date. Use routine names rather than student names.

Reading a school collection does not require a child account, Google sign-in, or a purchase. Anyone holding a valid shared code can read that collection. Treat codes and handouts as private.

Expiry and deletion

A temporary code connects a browser before its expiry date. Connected browsers retain access after code expiry or replacement. Readers can optionally save email and password access to their assigned collections; this does not grant family-library access. Staff can revoke access for all connected browsers and saved accounts, or delete a collection. Access also ends when the school’s access ends. Clearing cookies requires a valid code or school story sign-in on that browser.

Deleting a collection removes its live record. Backup retention, whole-school export/deletion requests, and any school-specific retention agreement must be confirmed during purchasing.

Services and accessibility

Google handles adult authentication. School sharing uses prepared stories; it does not send names or story content to an AI provider. QR codes are generated in the app. The optional family membership checkout is hosted by Gumroad.

Before a school purchase, request the current hosting and backup provider details, data agreement, and accessibility review. These pages do not claim a compliance certification. The school flow uses labeled forms, keyboard-operable controls, and printable reading material.

Purchasing and support

Use the request form for quotes, invoices, purchase orders, vendor documentation, and support questions. Submitting a request creates no subscription or charge. Requests are reviewed manually; a notification is sent to our team, subject to daily email limits.
